Question:I know that you use the steam distilled water in the NuVANTE products and I understand why you do. But, when we wash our face with regular water, how does that affect our skin?Answer:When you are creating products and you want to make them preservative free, you have to follow the scientific steps that allow you to formulate and end up with products that are preservative-free. The concept of steam distilled water is about creating preservative free products. If you start with clean, pure water, which is typically the number one ingredient in most products, then you won't end up later on putting in chemicals and preservative systems to try counteract the dirty water system that you started with. When you start with a dirty water system when formulating products, you will chase that dirty water all the way through the creation process using preservatives and additives in order to correct the initial problem. This is a different issue that the water that we used from our sink or shower to wash our face or body with- although it is great to be concerned about the quality of this water also! Our steam distilled water is about focusing on the creation of preservative free products!
